Achieving this learning unit will enable the candidate to display the competency required to provide Judo/Karate coaching at club level in support of the coaching of the skills of the sport to a range of individuals ranging from beginners to 1st Dan-graded athletes.
The qualifying candidate will be able to coach the technical elements of Judo/Karate, showing an understanding of the principles of the sport and be able to demonstrate the skills and techniques required by participants at club level in the sport.
