The aim of the Occupation Health & Safety Representative Programme is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to perform a basic Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment with their environment according to the current Occupational Health & Safety Act 85 of 1993. This programme also considered the international OHSAS 18001 standard during the compilation thereof.

- Describe the framework of workplace health and safety legislation pertaining to health and safety representatives.
- Explain the specified requirements to conduct safety, health, and environmental representation activities at the facility where you study or work.
